My work is a collision of paint, lens, and steel—a raw, visceral style forged from childhood days emulating Rauschenberg and honed under legendary mentors at the Art Students League. Drawing from a background in film, drawing and photography, I work in a photaiture medium: a hybrid where portraiture and photographic realism fuse, the line between image and artifact forever blurred. Salvaged metal, camera lens, and encaustic brushwork combine to produce these works—art that takes, and art that gives back.
